Fishing at Willow Pond




















We were invited to share in yet another new experience here in the desert, a fishing pond!! It was a lovely afternoon to share with friends. Even if we didn't catch any fish. Abby discovered some snails.

Good Bye! Grampa & Gramma


Gramma and Grampa left for home after two weeks of running the roads with family and grandkids. It was a great visit. Thanks for coming!

Pumpkins, Paint, Donuts, Fun & Friends

The boys attended an 'Atal-atal' Throwing Contest (ancient spears). We visited the Miles Mineral Museum at Eastern New Mexico University and the 'old' Jail in the Roosevelt County courthouse to see the jail and an art exhibit.

Gramma & Grampa come to NM













Gramma and Grampa came to visit family for a couple weeks. Here they are on a tour of the Sunland Peanut Plant- they even received some free organic peanut butter.

It was a journey to Lubbock this past week that found us in the middle of a large corn maze and pumpkin patch.

Jail Break!!




Recently the kids and I visited the "old" Roosevelt County Jail. It has been made into an art gallery. There is a collection of art pieces from all over New Mexico representing the NEW DEAL Act. The younger kids were more fascinated by the living quarters than the art.
